I've had so many interesting nightmares lately.

  1. Aliens descended onto Rundle Mall and began surrounding us.
They look quite like those Aliens from well... 'Aliens'.

I watched in horror as they began slaughtering and feasting on us. It was chaotic! People were running everywhere! I just stood there in horror, unable to move.
Then, this dog came out of nowhere, attacked one of the aliens, giving me an opportunity to escape. I ran and ran, climbed up walls of houses (Yes, amazing) and finally, into this house to hide.
The owner comes out and he's pissed. He thinks that I could lead those monsters to his home. He tells me to hide somewhere else.
I was about to leave when I saw THE DOG THAT SAVED ME!
I tried to persuade the owner to lend me the dog so we can save the world together!
Owner gets pissed and ignores me.
One Republic's 'Apologize' plays in the background and I realized that it was my alarm ringtone.
Did not get to save the world with dog. Booo.

  2. Had several dreams about ghosts in toilets.
One was my old primary school toilet. I experienced something there once so.. I often have dreams about it.
The other one is recurring dream of this block of apartments with haunted toilets.
Fortunately for you, I don't really want to recall these dreams.

  3. Steve, my co-supervisor, getting extremely frustrated with me. When I tried to explain myself, he just rolled his eyes, shrugged his shoulders and refused to listen.
THIS IS A TERRIBLE DREAM! Okay, it's not interesting but it's terrible!!
Steve is such a mild-mannered and patient man. I was so disappointed in my dream :(

  4. Someone forced me to eat fried chicken!!
I bit into it and it tasted bland and really oily. EUGHHHHHHH!
In case you don't know/ have forgotten, I is vegetarian.

Hmmm... I think that's about it.
If you think, these are strange.. well, let me tell you about this particular one where time turned back and my brother and I changed into dinosaurs. He was a triceratops (I think it was because he used to like the Blue Ranger of the Power Rangers).. I don't know what I was because we don't have mirrors in the dinosaur age! -__-

Anyway!! We had to fend off a black peradactyl that kept swooping over us. We think it was trying to eat us!
After much running, we were cornered but the peradactyl turned out to be our "mom" so we didn't get eaten :)

Umm.. I also dreamt once that I was out with my best friend when this pink Hello Kitty wallet (!!!) kept following me! Well, it's not like it floated behind me or anything, it's that wherever I turn, it was there; a pink Hello Kitty wallet lying there!!!
Apparently, it was possessed by a ghost. HAHAA!
Bet you can't top that one!

Thirst for bloodshed

Now, a lot of you may think I'm a wee bit too small or a wee bit too unathletic to be running around with a heavy weapon,
then you... might actually be right.

But that didn't stop me!

Pint-sized warrior!

And being small is great! Because it makes me a harder target!
I am usually the one who lasts the longest from my team.

But being small also meant that I was not taken seriously.
I wanted to be the team leader but they just lauged.

But when I joked that our team should be named the 'rainbow unicorns' and they didn't laugh.
My team has a bad sense of humour! >=(

Anyway we were split into two teams; differentiated by either green or black masks.
There were three different terrain maps and several games to be played in each map.

One particular game was called 'Shoot the President'.
Each team had to assign a president (who gets to wear a tacky fluorescent bib).
The mission is to shoot down the opponent's president while protecting your own president.

Yes, I was president.
Yes, I get to wear a tacky bib.

But it hella fun!!

I was scared initially but once I got over the fear,
the adrenaline rush was such a thrill!

I was perhaps the most *cough* unfit person in the group.
My hands probably get the most exercise (typing, hailing down the bus, etc.)

Despite getting hit once or twice but I've found bruises over my knees and even one on my pinky! :(

Either I was immune to the pain when I got shot in those areas
(which is unlikely as I screamed bloody murder when I got shot in the arm)
or I must have gotten them from crawling on the ground.

Yes. I crawled.
What is so unbelievable about that??

Anyho, I managed to bring one of my opponents down.
WOO HOO! *prances*

I am lethal!

I also managed to shot my teammate in the arm. *sheepish grin*

Accidentally of course!!

Adam's battle scars! Green vegetable-oil gunk on his cheek.

Three hours whizzed by and one by one, our paintballs ran out.
I was really tired by the end of it.
Surprisingly, the boys didn't have enough and decided to have a 3-hour gaming session later that night where they get to pretend that they're soldiers and all-macho again.

Boys will be boys, aye?

Happy Birthday

Sultan of Brunei!

He turns 62 today.

I recall having a Malaysian lecturer who once revealed that she had a crush on him.

Anyway, has anyone googled him before? I just did and half of google images were of his prized car collection.

What a collection! O__o

After studying abroad, I realize that foreigners seem to know more about my sultan than I do.
Actually, I don't know much about the Bruneian royalty. You think it's ignorance but it's not.

But I sure learned a lot more from wikipedia than I did living in Brunei for 16 years!

Anyway, happy birthday kingy!

The Three Wise Men

My gums are feeling a little sore at the moment...
due to an emerging wisdom tooth!

Could this mean that I am well and truly on my way to adulthood?
I must be 1/4th of an adult now!
*dumps barbie doll into the bin*
Although if this is a taste of adulthood
then it's not very pleasant.
